I think thats how you spell it. But anyways everyone at my school is like gauging their ears. One guy did his to a zero at school it started bleeding really bad. But I want to do that, but I dont even know what size my ear is because I never wear ear rings. But I wanna gauge it, but I'm scared that it will hurt, because I suck at pain adn would proably scream. Ha sanyoen done it and has it hurt?

But how can I find out what size my ear hole is lol.? And what size is a good one to get without over doing it.? What would I look better with?

Make sure you want to keep the gauge. I have seen people who stopped and their ears look like the asshole of a cat.

Your ear, if it's a regular piercing, is probably an 18. Yes, it does hurt. It's a minor, annoying pain until you gauge it up, then it's more annoying pain. It's not a screaming pain, it's just a stretching pain. And personally, I'd rather pierce something new than gauge a piercing. Don't do something just become everyone else does it, do it because you want to.

Work your way up. If you jump up to that size, you'll rip your skin. You'll have to slowly work up sizes. How big you wanting to go?

Google 'ear gauging'' and see what you can find out. Do some research before you start doing it. Learn the RIGHT WAY TO DO IT. DO NOT ask your friends, look for reliable information or ask a piercer in your town.

Depending on the size it can take a few weeks to a few months. Cuz if you rush it, you'll rip your skin. And that does hurt, bad.

It can be called either. I had a friend from Indiana who get upset when it was called gauging, that it was stretching. But here in Illinois they call it gauging. Same concept.
